Dress - created for the Living Space exhibition at Georges House Gallery, Folkestone, Kent.

2002 - As part of Ashford Community Artists Liz was involved in artist workshops and jubilee celebrations. Grants were obtained from Ashford Borough Council, Ashford Town Centre Partnership and Awards for All. Other artists in the group were: Mandy Munroe, Paul Crudge, Carol Stump and Mary Sampson.

2001 - As part of the Living Space exhibition, Liz was awarded a grant by South East Arts (RALP), Ashford Borough Council, Shepway District Council, East Kent Timber and Strange Cargo.  The other artists taking part were: Ann Clay (painter), Paul Crudge (furniture designer) and Mandy Munroe (textile artist).  The exhibition was at Georges House Gallery in Folkestone and on the internet.  One of her exhibits was "dress".

2000 - Liz was commissioned to create a photographic montage of the Sunday market in Ashford's Lower High Street by Ashford Borough Council.

2000 - Liz was commissioned by Ashford Borough Council to demonstrate photographic techniques in Ashford's Sunday High Street Market along with Mary Sampson, Carol Stump and Donna Hawkes.

Liz is an active member of Ashford Visual Artists and South East Open Studios helping to promote art and photography by curating exhibitions and liaising with the press. 

Since 2004 Liz has had various roles on the management committee of South East Open Studios including: Website Editor, Publicity; Database Secretary and Area Co-ordinator for Ashford.  For SEOS 2011 she is currently the Area Co-ordinator for the Ashford Area.

She is particularly keen to encourage a greater awareness of photography and art amongst the general public.
