| ARTISTS across Kent are opening their
doors. The South East Open Studios scheme
offers the chance to meet, talk to and see them at work. Nearly 250 artists are participating in SEOS 2007, which runs until June 24. The event is free and details are in a guide available from libraries, galleries and tourist offices and on the SEOS website at www.seos-art.org. Among those taking part is Liz Garnett (pictured) who will be opening her studio in Brabourne Lees. Over the last year she has been working on images of the countryside around Brabourne and Smeeth. She has been a professional photographer for 14 years and has had work published in books, magazines and travel brochures, but her true passion is art photography. Liz's studio is at 6 Mountbatten Way, Brabourne Lees, Ashford. It will be open between 11am and 6pm this Saturday and Sunday nad on Saturday, June 23, and Sunday, June 24, and between 9.30am and 2.30pm on Monday June 11 and Monday June 18. |
