Images for all Occasions

Photographer Liz Garnett is opening her studio in Brabourne Lees to visitors this month.

The artist is known for her distinctive pictures of flowers and uses chemical processes to create unusual colours and and abstract effect.

Her images are used on bags, T-shirts, mugs, cards, mouse mats, coasters and stickers for wheelie bins.

Liz, 40, is opening her studio in Mountbatten Way as part of the annual South East Open Studios project.

She will be demonstrating emulsion lifting - taking the top layer of emulsion from a photograph and reproducing a delicate image on paper.

“I just want to show people what I do and talk to them about photography,” said the mother-of-two.

Liz’s work has been commissioned for books, travel brochures and magazines including Harpers and Queen.

She exhibits in London and the south east and has displayed work in Italy, Belgium and America.

The studio will be open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday June 10 and 11, Sunday, June 18, and Saturday and Sunday, June 24 and 25.
