Kentish Express - 8 February 2007 - Flower Power Delights

An exhibition of flower photography by Liz Garnett has opened at Oaklands Health Centre in Hythe.

The vibrant images were created in her studio in Brabourne Lees using different films and processes.

The exhibition space at Oaklands was set up by artists Mary Sampson and Margaret Rushford in conjunction with Dr Claire Evans.

It runs until the end of May.

Liz said: "It is great to see original artworks making their way out into the community.

"This area has a wealth of artistic talent and by exhibiting in more unexpected setting, it gives local people the opportunity to see the wide variety of artworks created in this area."

She has been a professional photographer for 14 years and has had work published in books, magazines and travel brochures.

She has exhibited her work in London and the South East as well as mainland Europe.

Oaklands Health Centre is at Stade Street, Hythe.  The exhibition is open between 9am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday. See www.lizgarnett.com
