| A group of Kent-based contemporary photographers have put their
work on display at The Tiger Inn at Stowting, Eight members of Salon
67 and their work are included in the exhibition, which runs until
Wednesday, January 25. Those involved are: ‘Mysterious’ Marie Muscat-King, David Bebbington, whose work blends the classic and modern, Tommy Candler, whose photographs explode with colour, Carol Fulton captures people, landscape and movement, Scarlet James, an extravagant and romantic, Liz Garnett, who constantly experiments and surprises, and Mary Sampson, who is seriously involved in many community projects, art, photography, craft. David Jones is the bravest on the digital front, His photographs are a mixture of nostalgic and witty. Salon 67 is a group of contemporary art photography as an art form. They regularly exhibit their work in the UK and overseas. |
