| Striking images of the natural world and
experimental street scenes will be on display at an contemporary
photography exhibit at the Tiger Inn, Stowting, Ashford, until
Wednesday, January 25.
Titled Salon 67, the work comes from eight experienced Kent art photographers including Tommy Candler, Carol Fulton and Mary Sampson. David Bebbington provides abstract work focusing on human interaction with nature. This theme is also explored by Liz Garnett, who has produced a stylish range of colour and mono floral shots. The exhibition is free and open during pub opening hours. In the same vein Colours II by Salon 67, featuring the work of many of the same photographers is running at Canterbury's Marlowe Theatre until October. |
